Record Snowfall in Aspen!
 
snowshoeWhile Colorado's snowpack is up 10% this year, the Aspen area's snowpack is reported to be 20% above average! With all the new snow and powder days that keep coming, now is a great time to come down to Hallam Lake and snowshoe! Snowshoes are always available to borrow for a nice, leisurely walk along the nature trail.

Hallam Lake nature preserve is open Monday through Friday from
9 am to 5 pm all winter long!

Potbelly Perspectives, a series featuring exciting accounts of world travel and adventure occurs every Wednesday at 7:30 pm from January 9th - March 26th. $4, free for ACES members.

ACES and Wilderness Workshop invite you to spend an evening with local experts as they share their knowledge of the natural world. Hot drinks and cookies provided- FREE! Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm.

Rock Bottom Ranch  
RBR Winter New Additions to the Barnyard!

Although winter is still in full force down here at Rock Bottom Ranch, our chicks from last Spring have started laying eggs! Stop by and visit our farmyard flock to see all their egg-cellent progress. We also have two new additions to our goat herd - Deb and Tina. These two French-Alpine dames are frolicking about in the snowy RBR farmyard. Come visit the ranch this winter for a snow-filled, farmyard frenzy! Open Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Snowshoe and Ski Tours
 
Take a naturalist-guided snowshoe or ski tour and learn about wildlife in winter, tracking, mountain ecology, Aspen history, and the often unseen natural wonders of life in the snow.

Tours are offered every day throughout the winter on Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, and at Ashcroft.
