Mom and Dad don't be afraid - bring your babies and kids into the garden! Learn alongside Eden Vardy of Aspen TREE who keeps diggin' around his garden, now with his baby son. Grow your own food!  This three-Saturday series will teach the basics of natural and organic gardening techniques that are in unison with nature. Participants will learn to grow their own food and care for their garden system using entirely self-made and locally available products and holistic techniques! Stick around after the first class, on May 14th, and lend a hand with the RBR Spring Kick-off volunteer day.  Click here to register.

Intro to Beekeeping

The class will cover the basic benefits of keeping bees for the environment and for the beekeeper, what is involved in getting started in beekeeping, costs of getting started, and many other bee related topics.  We will also have a hive on site so you can get a firsthand look at live bees, the queen and the joy of being around one of nature's most amazing creatures.

Spring Kick-Off

May 14th, 9am - 1pm 

Help get the ranch ready for spring!  Our babies will be arriving soon and the grass will soon be long enough to put the animals out to pasture.  Bring the family and your work gloves and get down and dirty - we'll be planting and caring for native plants on the edge of the farmyard, cleaning the animal pastures, and maybe even planting in the garden!  We will provide snacks for everyone, and families are welcome! ACES Apprenticeship      
 
Deadline Extended to May 15th

ACES Environmental classApprenticeship is designed to introduce high school and college students to environmental education and environmental studies careers by apprenticing at Aspen Center for Environmental Studies.  Students will assist in teaching environmental education programs, read and discuss articles, write daily journal entries, and create a portfolio of work.

bandACES' annual membership dinner will feature dinner, drinks, and the indie-pop bluegrass band Paper Bird! This seven-piece band from Denver has a joyful, vintage sound.
