Rock Bottom Ranch offers many opportunities to test out your green thumb. Friends of RBR can join the Community Garden with their own plot to grow fresh vegetables or beautiful flowers. If a community garden plot is too much for your busy schedule, stop by on Wednesdays to volunteer in the garden and learn to propagate, transplant, weed and harvest in a hands-on way.
Other ways to "Get into the Garden" are by taking the Practical Beekeeping course, instructed by valley resident Allison Spayd. Kids can also get into the garden by signing up for a fun summer program. Divided into various age groups, our summer programs allow youngsters to delve into gardening, cooking, raising chickens & rabbits, sharing harvested food and much more.
At Rock Bottom Ranch we also welcome energetic community members who want to turn a novel idea into a reality! Feel free to contact a ranch staff member about ideas you may have to improve visitor experience, ranch programs or general ranch infrastructure.
