Antarctica to Everest and More

Recent Assignments from a National Geographic Photographer Pete McBride
Valley native Pete McBride will show his work from his latest National Geographic assignment to Antarctica where he and a team explored by sailboat and sea kayak the west coast of Antarctica's Peninsula, Graham Land for five weeks. Their trip looked at wildlife, climate change and the growing impacts of tourism in the region. He will also show a small selection of images from other recent National Geographic assignments in Bhutan, where he walked the "Snowman Trek", dubbed the "hardest trek in the world", and the highland Mayan world of Guatemala.
