The Green World Day Hike

Spend the day wandering the Castle Creek Valley with a Naturalist fromthe Aspen Center for Environmental Studies. This hike has it all:steam-side trails, beaver ponds, wetlands, wildflower meadows, mountainviews, as well as a brief stop at the Ashcroft ghost town and lunch atthe Pine Creek Cookhouse.

* The four-hour tour runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and covers 3.5 miles of easy terrain.
* Two person minimum, please make advanced reservations. Call the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies at 970.925.5756.
* The $60 cost per person includes a knowledgeable guide, beautiful scenery and a gourmet lunch at the Pine Creek Cookhouse.
* Ashcroft is located 11 miles up Castle Creek Road, an easy 25 minutedrive from Aspen. Please provide your own transportation and carpool ifpossible.
