Family Farm Days: Sept

Family members of all ages will enjoy this glimpse of farm life as they learn how to farm with the seasons. Milking a goat, harvesting garden greens, pressing apple cider& there is fun to be had by all! Each Saturday will have the same basic activities but will vary through the seasons depending on what's available at that time from the garden and the ranch.
No registration necessary, $20 suggested donation per family

WHAT TO BRING: Wear appropriate clothing for the morning at the Ranch including sunscreen and a hat, closed-toed shoes (no sandals) and long sleeves - sunshine and bugs are in abundance at RBR! Bring whatever you may need to get you through the morning - snack, water, etc.

HOW TO GET THERE: Please bike, ride your horse, carpool, or paddle down the river to RBR whenever possible. In the Summer of 2009 we started to award most dedicated alternative transportation users and we'll keep doing it! We will set up 2010 Bike Board Challenge again - jump on your bike and ride down Rio Grande Trail to join the fun!
