two-week commitment This apprenticeship is designed to introduce high school and college students to environmental education and environmental studies careers by apprenticing at Aspen Center for Environmental Studies. Students will assist in teaching environmental education programs, read and discuss articles, write daily journal entries, conduct individual research, and create a portfolio of work. This apprenticeship is in the approval process for 1 undergraduate credit with Adams State College. Application deadline - May 15th, 2010.WHAT TO BRING: You're on your own for lunch - please bring whatever you need for the day with you. Wear appropriate clothes and shoes - no sandals, please. HOW TO GET THERE: Please bike or walk to ACES whenever possible - it's not only fun, it saves the planet! Every time you come to ACES in something other than your own car (carpools work, too) you will receive a sticker to place on our Alternative Transportation Board.
