Community Calls Workshops: A Beginner's Knitting Class

Spend Valentine's Day developing a new passion....

Have you bought the yarn, needles, and pattern, but haven't figured out how to begin your project?   This class is designed to help you get started and get creative!  Celebrate Valentine's Day at Rock Bottom Ranch with a date, friend, or just yourself during an evening of learning to cast-on, knit, purl, and bind-off a scarf, hat, or any other knitted project.  Bring all your own materials (yarn and needles) and we'll give you the basic knowledge you need to get the ball of yarn rolling and eventually complete your hand-crafted item!

WHAT TO BRING: Please carpool to Rock Bottom Ranch whenever possible. Bring whatever you may need to get you through the class (snack, drink...). In most RBR classes the materials are provided but always feel free to bring your own materials if it seems appropriate (baking, knitting, spinning, gardening etc.).

HOW TO GET THERE: Please ride your horse, bike or ski (depending on the weather) down Rio Grande Trail to RBR whenever possible. Or, if you have to drive don't drive alone? Ask your friends to take the class with you and carpool to RBR!!
