The Jessica Catto Leadership Dialogues

In the Fall of 2009 ACES mourned the loss of one of its most generous supporters — Jessica Catto.

Wendell Berry wrote, “If you don’t know where you are, you don’t know who you are.”  Jessica, such an exceptional human being, knew who she was.  I think it was because she deeply loved the natural world in all its diversity…she knew where she was and cared enough to act on its behalf.

Jessica was one of those remarkable women, who had the strength of conviction to be effective as a voice for the earth, even when it took a great deal of courage to speak out.  She has been and will continue to be an inspiration and a beacon for those committed to being stewards of the environment.

In honor of Jessica Catto’s inspiring generosity, ACES, in collaboration with CORE, started The Jessica Catto Leadership Dialogues. This series is supported by the generosity of Henry Catto and family.
