Melanie Choukas-Bradley, a naturalist and certified forest bathing guide, will share what she’s learned from shinrin-yoku guides in Japan and her own forest bathing practice. She’ll help you adopt your own wild home and develop an intimate relationship with your special place through the seasons. Melanie Choukas-Bradley is the author of several nature books, including The Joy of Forest Bathing—Reconnect with Wild Places & Rejuvenate Your Life and Resilience—Connecting With Nature in a Time of Crisis. Her most recent book is Finding Solace at Theodore Roosevelt Island. Melanie regularly leads forest bathing walks in Washington, DC, and she has led walks in the Dakota badlands, Austin, Texas, New England, and at ACES Catto Center at Toklat.
