Angling Adventures | Two
Partnership with the Roaring Fork Conservancy
Is there more to fly fishing than just catching fish? Absolutely! Join certified instructors from Roaring Fork Conservancy and ACES to take a look beneath the surface at all that fly fishing has to offer. You’ll explore and engage with various aquatic habitats at The River Center and Rock Bottom Ranch that support our plant and animal communities. Collect aquatic insects and tie flies to imitate the food that trout eat. Young anglers will receive complete instruction on casting, fishing gear, knot tying, proper fish handling, catch and release, and of course, fish!
This class meets every morning at 9:00am at The River Center in Basalt. Pick-up occurs at Rock Bottom Ranch at 3:30pm.
(Fly rods and reels are provided for each camper.)
