Senses of the Ranch | ONE
Come to Rock Bottom Ranch to see what unusual and exciting experiences can be found on the preserve as you test out your five senses—sight, touch, smell, hear, and taste. Together we will explore secret hiding places and romp through the woods, fields, and streams that surround the ranch. We’ll transform into wild animals, and see what exciting things we can discover!
Prerequisite – Kids must be entering Kindergarten this fall and be 5 years of age by October 1, 2020 to attend this class.
What To Bring:
Pack a backpack with snack, lunch, reusable water bottle, rain jacket, warm layer, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. Sunshine and bugs are abundant at RBR. Please remember to label everything. Wear appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toed shoes - no open-toe sandals! Optional- closed-toed shoes/sandles for water exploration. Please leave electronics, candy, and toys at home.
How To Get There:
Please walk, bike, or carpool to ACES at Rock Bottom Ranch whenever possible! Parking is extremely limited and alternate transportation is fun and saves the planet.
BIKE BOARD CHALLENGE: Fill out a Bike Board Card and add a sticker every time you come to Rock Bottom Ranch in something other than your own car. Bike Board participants are entered to win great prizes all summer long including bike accessories, and more.
PARKING LOT: Limited parking is available for Rock Bottom Ranch visitors only. Please park efficiently. No parking in ACES lot outside of open hours. We are an IDLE FREE community.
