Spring Ranchers | Wilderness Adventures

Come to Rock Bottom Ranch this spring break to explore the life of a rancher and a naturalist. From sustainable agriculture and ranch activities to ecological investigations and explorations, each day will bring something new! Master the art of tracking and gain the skills you need to survive in the wild on your own as you spend the day hiking around RBR! Try your hand at starting a friction fire, building a shelter to withstand the elements, and mastering map and compass skills. Are you up for the challenge?

What To Bring:

Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for a day at the ranch in spring time! Remember, it can be sunny or snowy, and will probably be wet and muddy! Pack a backpack with snack, lunch, reusable water bottle, raingear, clothing for warm and cold weather, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. Remember to label everything.

How To Get There:

Please bike, walk or ride your horse to RBR whenever possible. Coming to RBR for more than one day? We will help with gathering and sharing carpool information - please let us know if you're interested in carpooling with other parents!
