Making the Most of a Himalayan Climbing Season: Everest & Cho Oyu

UPDATE - LOCATION CHANGE: For our opening Potbelly Perspectives of 2019, we're excited to announce that Neal Beidleman's presentation will be hosted at Paepcke Auditorium at 7PM this Wednesday, January 2nd. We're looking forward to this exciting presentation and hope you'll join us this Wednesday at Paepcke Auditorium!

For ACES' opening Potbelly Perspectives presentation of the 2019 season, Neal Beidleman will shares tales of his climbs of both Cho Oyu (6th highest in the world) and Everest last spring. Having climbed both peaks from the Tibetan sides, Neal will contrast this past year’s adventures against his previous summits of Everest from Nepal. Neal has climbed and photographed in the Himalaya for over 26 years, capturing many iconic images, and deeply enjoys the art of storytelling.

Cookies will be offered prior to the lecture.
