Plant a Seed

June 3, July 1, July 29, August 26, Sept 23
Join us in the Children’s Garden for a  garden-themed story. Then get your hands dirty and  experience the small wonder of planting a seed to take home for you and your family to grow.

Farm Animal Connections

June 10, July 8, August 5, Sept 2
Come on down to the ranch for an animal meet and greet to learn about the jobs of rabbits and chicks at the ranch. This interactive experience will also show the younger participants how to read animal body language to gain an understanding of how animals communicate their needs and feelings when we are around them.

Inside the Beehive

June 17, July 15, August 12, Sept 9
Have you ever looked inside a bee’s hive, to see where the nectar goes, what honeycomb in the making looks like, and observed the roles of bees? Join us in taking a closer look at the complex and beautiful system that makes up a beehive, and enjoy a taste of honey to make the experience stick!

Vegetable Tastings

June 24, July 22, August 19, Sept 16
Learn the journey of a seed to an adult plant at Rock Bottom Ranch by touring the production gardens and then harvesting and sampling a vegetable for yourself.
