Join us for new interactive experiences at Rock Bottom Ranch!
Ranch Experiences are on Thursdays from 10:30am-11:00am from Thursday, June 3 - Thursday, September 23. Advanced registration is required.
In this new series at Rock Bottom Ranch, we will rotate through four different “experiences.” Featured experiences are “Plant a Seed,” “Farm Animal Connections,” “Inside the Beehive,” and “Vegetable Tastings.” These experiences are the perfect activity for families to pair with our new self-guided tour of Rock Bottom Ranch! Experiences will be held rain or shine. Please wear comfortable clothes & bring layers. Click on each title for more details and to sign up!
Suggested $5 donation / $10 per family / free for members. You will have the opportunity to donate during registration or at the ranch!

Join us in the Children’s Garden for a garden-themed story. Then get your hands dirty and experience the small wonder of planting a seed to take home for you and your family to grow.

Come on down to the ranch for an animal meet and greet to learn about the jobs of rabbits and chicks at the ranch. This interactive experience will also show the younger participants how to read animal body language to gain an understanding of how animals communicate their needs and feelings when we are around them.

Learn the journey of a seed to an adult plant at Rock Bottom Ranch by touring the production gardens and then harvesting and sampling a vegetable for yourself.

Have you ever looked inside a bee’s hive, to see where the nectar goes, what honeycomb in the making looks like, and observed the roles of bees? Join us in taking a closer look at the complex and beautiful system that makes up a beehive, and enjoy a taste of honey to make the experience stick!
