ACES is pleased to announce a Jessica Catto Leadership Dialogue featuring M. Sanjayan, lead scientist for The Nature Conservancy and global conservationist. Sanjayan will speak on "Saving Earth in the Age of Man," a presentation exploring the role of conservation in improving human well-being, wildlife, and the environment.

M. Sanjayan is a leading ecologist, speaker, writer and an Emmy-nominated news contributor. As the lead scientist for The Nature Conservancy - the world's largest conservation organization − Sanjayan travels extensively to research the nexus between saving nature and improving the well-being of people. Next spring he will star in James Cameron's Years of Living Dangerously, a Showtime documentary series event that will explore the human impact of climate change.

Sanjayan's scientific work has been published in journals including Science, Nature and Conservation Biology and has also received mainstream media coverage from Vanity Fair, Men's Journal, National Geographic Adventure, Outside and The New York Times.

Sanjayan will speak on Thursday, August 8th at 6:30pm at Paepcke Auditorium on Saving Earth in the Age of Man: Conservation in a Human Dominated World.
